Recently, third grade students in room 18 participated in this program. It was a great opportunity for students to learn about the community. A volunteer taught 5 lessons about zones within a city, goods and services, the importance of money and its role with taxes, the difference between needs and wants, and how to manage money. These
lessons are extremely engaging with hands-on activities to help students understand these important concepts that tie into our Social Studies curriculum. Thank you to all of our Junior Achievement volunteers for this wonderful experience!
