Third grade concluded their writing unit with a special presentation about service dogs. Laura Theurer and her seeing eye dog in training, Gino, were able to visit with all third graders. The guest speaker, who is a volunteer from the Dauphin County 4 –H Seeing Eye Program, was able to explain the jobs and responsibilities of the service animal along with the roles of a trainer.

Hershey Elementary students had the opportunity to visit the Snowball Express hosted by our PTO last week. Students embraced the spirit of giving to others by choosing items to give as gifts to friends and family.
Second grade teachers, Megan Ozimok, Kim Vondran, and Amy Brandt, recently became nationally board certified teachers! They have dedicated much time and hard work perfecting the art and skill of their teaching to achieve this title. Please join us in congratulations and celebration for these wonderful ladies!
