Toblerone, a Swiss Mountain dog, came to visit students in Room 21 to wrap up our International Fair week. Toblerone is a service and show dog who visited with his family, the Sheppards. He loves children and is practicing his manners and tricks! Students learned of his awards and experiences as well as what the dogs are bred for and their jobs and training in Switzerland.
What an amazing celebration of reading for Read Across America Week! Check out some of the photos from our celebration!
Representative Payne visited Mrs. Dunlop's 4th grade classroom as a guest reader. He read Bats at the Library to the class and engaged the students in questioning about his role in congress and the important job he does representing his constituents. Thank you to Mrs. Dunlop's class for the thoughtful questions and Rep. Payne for engaging our students during Read Across America Week!
