The 5th Grade students and teachers participated in JA in a day (Junior Achievement) on April 22. Junior Achievement is the world's largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. JA's unique approach allows volunteers from the community to deliver our curriculum while sharing their experiences with students. Embodying the heart of JA, our more than 213,000 classroom volunteers transform the key concepts of our lessons into a message that inspires and empowers students to believe in themselves, showing them they can make a difference in the world. Thank you to the amazing volunteers who made this day possible as well as the students and teachers who were so engaged throughout JA in a day. What an amazing day of learning, investigating, questioning, and discovering!

A representative from the Lebanon Vetrans Affairs Medical Center came to present our PTO with a Certificate of Advocacy for their donations of comfort items and household cleaning products to the Veterans Outreach Program . This program provides needed comfort items to homeless Veterans who are living on the streets or in shelters , as well as the homeless veterans participating in their housing program. We are super proud of our 4th graders who supported this collection as a community project on one of their party days . |
